Managing Electronic Records & Information
- Established an operational structure to manage 14 distinct project areas including contracts, internal job costing, time tracking, metrics and reporting to provide managment with timely project status and day-to-day adminstration for a First Nation.
- Developed a standardized fee structure (by SKU) for a major grocery distributor for ‘package stickering’ for 10,000+ products including analysis of current state, inventory turnover, frequency of transactions, cost of labeling, and budgetary considerations for internal vs. outsourcing labeling solutions.
- Consolidation of records from two distinct associations to retain 30 years worth of institutional knowledge – review of policies and processes, creation of a framework to classify and retain data, established protocols for official records and developed a roadmap for implementation and sustainability.
Business Consulting & Virtual Office Management
- Evaluated project costing and profitability for $17 million worth of projects to inform strategic planning and future decision making.
- Established a baseline to manage operational expenses by introducing changes to administrative forms to standardize reporting.
- Coached executive team to review business strategy and approach to managing over 300 projects.
- Managed all aspects of payroll (union benefits, RRSP contributions), banking management and invoicing (A/R and A/P).
- Assumed the role of Office Manager for a research laboratory including receiving incoming mail, invoicing, processing IRAP claims, and liaison with accountants, lawyers and service providers.
Office Technology Training
- Integrated time tracking software (Dovico) and QuickBooks to streamline time sheet management for 30 employees and quantify job costing by project.
- Facilitated 16 groups of up to 15 entrepreneurs for each session to review all functional business areas related to the start-up phase of new businesses.
